DR. SAM YAGHMOUR
Dr. Sam is passionate about maximizing human performance. His athletic journey took off after winning a silver medal at the Canadian Junior National Championships for swimming. He later joined the prestigious varsity swim team at the University of Toronto, where he had the opportunity to train with some of Canada’s top high-performance coaches. He also accomplished his dream of representing his home country, on the international level, where he broke several national records.
While competing, his obsession with health and performance grew. He was constantly getting treated by massage therapists, physiotherapists, and sports physicians but realized there was a gap between physical therapy and high performance. He later graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Kinesiology with High Honors. He earned numerous academic excellence awards, as well as multiple academic All-Canadian statuses.
When he completed his post-secondary studies, he was inducted to the R. Tait McKenzie Academic Honor Society recognizing outstanding students. He then attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where he completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree with honors. Soon after, his mission became evident, to help people achieve their outermost human potential.
Dr. Sam is certified in acupuncture, as well as instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy. He is a registered swimming/triathlon coach with Swim Ontario. He maintains a healthy active lifestyle and is an avid weightlifter, runner, and swimmer. He resides in Toronto and is very excited about joining Dr. Chris and Dr. Sid at the Centre for Fitness Health and Performance.
